This course is ideal for massage therapists who wish to expand their skills.  Indian Head Massage is a popular and beneficial treatment, being easy to perform without any special equipment.  Clients remained clothed and seated whilst the massage is applied to the upper back and shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp and face.

 

 

Entry Requirements

 

It is a pre-requisite of this course that you must hold a recognised qualification in body massage, including anatomy and physiology (VTCT/ITEC/C&G or similar). Photocopied evidence of this must be provided.

 

 

Duration of Course

 

This course involves 24 hours of learning/teaching time and may be run over several days or evenings; this will vary according to the course scheduled.  Assessment will be ongoing but also includes a multiple choice theory paper and final practical assessment. Case studies (a total of 9 treatments) must be completed in your own time.

£225 (includes course notes to take home)

 

Accreditation

 

On successful completion of the course you will be presented with an Indian Head Massage Diploma.  This is recognised and accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists.  You will then be able to update your insurance and practice professionally.

 

Additional Information

  

  • All course materials, towels, oil, powder etc. will be provided
  • Please wear suitable therapists' clothing and flat/low heeled shoes
