This Guild Training International course will teach you everything you need to know in order to carry out a professional reflexology treatment. The theory is completed online at home in your own time before a practical training session is taken. GTi gives you flexible learning designed to fit in around your lifestyle and full tutorial email support is available throughout your learning experience.
The GTi Foot Reflexology course covers all the necessary anatomy and physiology so you do not need to hold a separate anatomy and physiology qualification.
The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images and a voiceover to give you the best possible learning experience.
Membership of The Guild is a requirement for anyone enrolling on a GTi course. If you are not already a member and are not a qualified therapist you can purchase a student membership for £25. Student membership lasts for 3 months but there is no time limit for your course completion. However, if you do complete your course within 3 months and wish to upgrade to full membership then then the cost of your student membership will be deducted from the fees for full membership
If you are already a qualified therapist you have the option of either student membership or full membership.
The online GTi Professional Standards course must be taken alongside this course if you have not already completed this - there is no additional charge for this course.
The time it takes to complete the course will depend on how quickly you learn and the number of hours per day you spend on your studies. GTi recommend 23 hours for the theory. Once you have completed the theory then 2 days of practical training and assessment can be arranged. There is no time limit for completing the course. Assessment takes place through online exams and practical demonstration.
£290 (this includes a copy of the Guild's full colour 336 page Reflexology text book and a DVD which details all the reflexology techniques featured in the course), plus Guild membership fees as stated above in entry requirements.
On successful completion of the course you will receive a GTi Award certificate which you can print yourself. If you prefer, a Guild Training International certificate can be sent to you for an additional fee of £18. This is fully accredited by the Guild of Beauty Therapists, a leading professional trade body, for membership and insurance purposes.
