 This is an ideal course for existing therapists who wish to extend their range of skills and treatments. Many clients find thermal auricular therapy (ear candling) very beneficial for a range of symptoms and it is also a lovely relaxing treatment. A great treatment to both give and receive, this will be an interesting and enjoyable day.

Entry requirements

It is a prerequisite of this course that you must hold a recognised holistic or beauty therapy qualification (VTCT/ITEC/C&G or similar) which includes anatomy and physiology. Photocopied evidence of this should be sent with enrolment forms and fees or, for courses run through Wiltshire College, please bring a photocopied certificate along to the course with you.

Duration of course

This is a one day workshop, running from 10am - 5.30pm. Assessment will be ongoing throughout the day - there are no exams.

Course fee

£100 (includes the use of 2 pairs of ear candles) when taught in a group.

£150 for one-to-one tuition. You will need to bring somebody with you to practise on and the course duration may be shorter.

Accreditation

On successful completion of the workshop you will be presented with a Thermal Auricular Therapy Diploma. This course is accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists, enabling you to gain or update your insurance and practice professionally.

Additional information

  • All course materials, couches, towels, ear candles etc will be provided
  • Please bring a packed lunch with you - food is not available at the venue
  • Tea, coffee, herbal teas and biscuits will be provided. 
  • Please wear therapy uniform and flat/low heeled shoes
